There comes a time in life when we all need to move on.

Some things are harder to sway from than others,

But the time for this has run out.

You have to move on.

I’m in the future and you’re stuck in the past.

I’ve already moved on and it hurts to go back.

I don’t feel it anymore

The love that used to be there is gone.

When I think of you, my heart is empty.

The void that you left for so long

Replaced.

The most important things to me are my friends and family.

What happened to the quidditch shirts?

They have been postponed for a little bit. We’ve been dealing with the League of Presidents and received a temporary charter. Now we’re working on having a stable meeting schedule and a scrimmage sometime in March. We’re hoping to have permission to print shirts near the end of March or something, but I’m not sure.

Hoops are being built this weekend. Hopefully, we’ll have everything we need so we an have a scrimmage before the break. We will be playing in January for sure.

Upcoming things:

12/4 (Sunday): The NY Badassilisks’ Secret Snitch Scrimmage. We will not be playing, but you should go watch. You can never have too much Quidditch.

12/17: The Annual Yule Ball! You should come! You can get tickets here and RSVP at my event.

January: The World Cup HS Champions at Trinity are thinking about having a high school scrimmage. More on that when it actually gets planned.

At this point, we will probably be official at Bronx Science and we’ll have shirts and everything.

March: Briarcliff High School might have a tournament at some point in the month.

Also, there is the big SBU tournament that we’re all training for at the end of March. Woooo!

Hey NY area Quidditch teams! Msg us if you want to play a Secret Snitch Scrimmage on Sun. Dec 4th. Players exchange small gifts before play.

What is Secret Snitch Scrimmage? Its like secret santa, but we play Quidditch!

Every player should bring a small $5 or so gift for a player on an opposing team.

The # of games we have will depend on how many teams respond. But you only need to bring one gift.

Middlebury won for the 5th time. They played against University of Florida.

Hey, I'm a student at The Brooklyn Latin School, and I'm interested in starting a Quidditch team. I'm wondering who you guys play?

We play by the rules developed by the International Quidditch Association. The quaffle is a volleyball that is thrown through hula hoops. The bludgers are dodgeballs that beaters throw at other players. The snitch is a person adorned in yellow that has a sock with a tennis ball in it. Throughout the entire game, players must have a broom between their legs. It’s pretty ridiculous, but that makes it more fun.

We haven’t played other teams yet. We’ve just been doing internal scrimmages. Once we’re ready, we’ll play play other high school teams like Townsend Harris, Briarcliff, Trinity, Pleasantville and some other ones.
